Turning a Fire Pit into a Functional Gathering Space
One outdoor living project included an existing fire pit positioned beyond the edge of the concrete patio. Anyone gathering around it had to place chairs and tables directly in the grass, where furniture could sink into the lawn and become unstable after rain or watering.
To make the area more comfortable and functional, we extended the existing concrete patio to include the fire pit. The new hard surface created room for lawn furniture and tables while connecting the fire pit more naturally to the rest of the outdoor living space.
For this project, we:
- Extended the existing concrete patio to include the fire pit
- Created a stable surface for outdoor chairs and tables
- Added seating to the outdoor kitchen
- Installed a custom TV wall

Anderson Remodeling was expensive, yes, but well worth the cost. The workmanship of their crew was excellent. I had a lot of wood rot on my Tudor style home. The work was labor intensive. The stucco and glass surrounding the wood demanded careful removal of the beams and trim. The crew amazed me with their ability to remove and replace without damage to the surrounding area. I can't thank Anderson Remodeling enough for their help during the recent ice storm! We had several busted pipes and I called many different plumbers and no one would answer the phone. I was put on many "wait lists" via email. I still have not heard from one of those companies! When we needed it most, Anderson Remodeling had a very kind and thoughtful office manager, Kaitlyn answering the phone before AND after working hours! It was so comforting to speak to a real person!! The plumbers came out as soon as they could and stayed until 11PM to fix our pipes. The next morning, the plumbers showed up again with more supplies to complete the job. They got everything capped off so we were able to have running water! The plumbers were very professional and kind. Later that evening, our hot water heater decided to start leaking. I once again was able to call the office and speak with the office team. They had Mr. Anderson contact me personally and he sent the plumbers back out to stop the leaking from the hot water heater. I am so thankful to have this company in the Cypress area! They were there when no one else would even answer the phone! They are hard working team that seem to really care about their customers!

Responsive, Good attention to detail, quality, and the customer's objectives: We hired Anderson Remodeling to paint the exterior of our house, replace a couple of windows and some doors, update the lighting in the kitchen and master closet, and power wash the exterior. They came out promptly to review the work to be done, gave a detailed quote, and got the work done on time and with a great attention to detail. They knew we were preparing to put the house on the market, so made recommendations to help us fix things that would be called out by an inspector, but also ensured we weren't spending money needlessly. Every time we had a question or a concern about something that didn't seem right, they looked at it and took care of it. The crews work full days, get the work done quickly, quietly, and clean up after themselves. It was absolutely a pleasure doing business with Anderson Remodeling and I would recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

The staff and team at Anderson are really interested in seeing a job through from the beginning to the end and all workers did a quality job. They were quick to address any questions or concerns we had, and made sure we were satisfied with the job. From the demolition to the final project, they made sure to keep the mess to a minimum and cleaned up after each step. Our bathroom is beautiful!

Excellent work and extremely trustworthy and honest. Quotes are specific and detailed. Anderson Remodeling renovated my master shower to a walk-in barrier free entry, solid surface walls floor to ceiling (3 walls - one 1/2 wall). No more grout lines or glass and glass door to clean, truly walk-in -- Awesome!! They have also painted the exterior trim, rebuilt 8 columns (with hardiplank) on the patio, replaced rotten trim, etc. All work buy all of the employees (plumbing, tiling, electrical, painting, carpentry) has been exceptional.

We had extensive wind and rain damage from HURRICANE HARVEY damaging 12 rooms including formal living room, large den, master bedroom, master bathroom, closets, kitchen, and 2 other bedrooms and bathrooms, plus utility room. Anderson Remodeling did an outstanding job inside and out in restoring this house to its beautiful condition. The work was performed in a timely manor without problems. Robert Anderson, the owner, is very professional, very knowledgeable, was involved in all aspects of the work, and was easy to work with. He listened and is also a man of great integrity. Anderson Remodeling did a top quality job with our home remodel. We did not flood, but decided a new, modern kitchen after 29 years was a must. We ended up gutting the kitchen, pantry, utility room, breakfast room & powder room. With such a huge remodel we had the expected issue here and there, but they always took care of any problems. They are the most professional, on schedule company you could ever hope to work with. Their subs always showed up on time, were very pleasant & cleaned up after themselves every day. Home Remodeling: We have used Anderson Remodeling for a number of home improvement over the last several years. The project last year was the most extensive involving the total rebuild of our master bathroom: Anderson worked with our designerThe bathroom was gutted to the studs. Floor to ceiling tile was installed.The slab was excavated with a jack hammer to allow for the construction of a large, glassless walk-in shower with a bench. The original bathtub was removed and the new one relocated to a different part of the bathroom. The wood cabinets were replaced and new stone tops installed. Hi-tech l.e.d lights installed in the ceiling. The two master closets were also redone in a similar manner. The bathroom is beautiful. The shower is terrific.We noticed a slight imperfection in one of the mirrors after the work was completed. It took one call to Anderson to get the mirror replaced.The year before last Anderson removed all the carpet in the house and installed wood floors. His crew again did an excellent job.Anderson Remodeling is expensive, you can find contractors that charge less......….and do less.His workman are fastidious and provide quality results, projects start on time and are finished on time and at cost.Most importantly...…….there are no unpleasant surprises.This is truly the case where you get what you pay for.

Anderson remodeling did a fantastic job rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey, his staff is helpful in all ways and the crews that were out at the house took care in doing things and would always let us know if they found issues with the house that needed to be dealt with. He also did work on the outside of the house and have been on top of things for us. I highly recommend any work by these fine people
